Editors comment: I have spent some time on John's site and I have to say I am impressed with the artists work, it's unique and that means quite a lot in my opinion. I have chosen this picture as I feel it represents the best description of the artists work. The bright red lips contrast nicely with the cool blues, the background colour compliments the other colours with good effect. Editors comment: I find this artists work quite enthralling, the painting here held my attention for several minutes, I still cannot find a description for it except it's spot on!, whatever that means !! Maybe it's the posture of the subject, she is almost enticing me, that is some effect for a painting to have on a viewer. There are some lovely landscapes on display as well as some black and white work but in the main I fell for the figure studies, there are more like this, they are lovely. Another artist who deserves an art lovers time.

Site description: My site shows myself, has details of my activity and is broken up into different pages of different types of work.
Editors comment: I have picked this painting for the cloud formation alone, a beautiful rendition of natures most prolific blank canvas. Many artists have overlooked the sky as the best subject to paint, never the same, changes even moments later make this a rewarding but difficult subject for artists the world over. Kelvin has 'married' the cool blues to the warm colours exceptionally well, a clear distinction between the two. The birds and the posts have given the work a sense of depth, nice work and well thought out.

Editors comment: I have chosen a screen print, 'China Blue', as a fair representation of this artists work. A lot of the art that Daniel creates goes over my head, but, some dosen't, and the screenprints are, I think, excellent. He has a very busy but well defined website and so I urge you to take a look and form your own opinion on this young mans creations. I did, and I like them.
